About me
I was born in 1979 in Aachen, a city at the western border of Germany. Since 1985 I am working with computers, since 1988 with the first personal computer, an Atari ST 1040, on which I performed my first steps in graphics programs and programming simple desktop applications. In early 1993 I went with a 368 in the world of the PC and soon found joy in working with Turbo Pascal and later I developed own applications with Borland Delphi. Besides school, I worked in areas such as the IT firm Inform GmbH Aachen in the error analysis of software in the logistics sector (Airport Authority Dubai).
1999, when I made the first experiences with the Internet, I joined the RWTH Aachen University, studying on mechanical engineering. Incidentally, I spent much time working in institutes of the University, involved in building and programming a robot at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology.
Mid 2005, I added communication sciences and psychology as a focal point. The cognitive psychology and ergonomics in particular interested me most. Here I tested, among other software, user interfaces on user-friendliness.
In 2007 I worked as a concierge at the Grand Hotel "Quellenhof" in Aachen (Germany), where I revamped my English skills. It has been great fun to listen to people and recognizing their needs. The year was titled: "Make the impossible possible, and if possible the day before yesterday."
Since 2008 I work as a freelance web designer: My decision was made to make the hobby into a career. I constantly learn new technics to meet the needs of my clients.
